Cafe No.9
cafeno9.co.uk

No.9 was opened in August 2008 and is owned and run by Anna Field and Gavin Catlow-Hawkins. We had previously worked together in a local estate agency and when the opportunity of combining both our culinary and customer skills arose we decided to grab it.

One of our aims is to support local businesses. We are supplied with bread and meat from Gloucester, milk from Swindon Village and organic ice cream from Farmington.

The cafe has quickly become a regular place for friends to catch up, a relaxing environment for a light lunch and also a convenient place for business colleagues to meet.

During November last year we were nominated for and won the award for good customer service run by the local chamber of commerce and Tewkesbury Borough Council and in February we collected our award, which is now on display in the cafe.

RED NOSE DAY

After a hugely enjoyable and busy week of fund raising and cake making we are pleased to report that through the kind donations of our customers and lots of cake buying we have raised the sum of £470.13 which will be sent to Comic Relief as soon as possible. A massive thank you to everyone who contributed.

The Guinness Cake as mentioned twice last week by a certain Mr Wogan of Radio 2 fame went down a storm and production wil be increased next week to cope with demand, thanks terry.........!
